National Health & Nutrition Examination Survey
Oakland County has been selected to participate in the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) during the summer of 2017.
There are many benefits to participate.
+Many measurements/tests performed are unique and not commonly done in doctor’s offices during routine physical exams.
+Chance for participants to take important tests and gain additional health information about themselves.
+Tests are done at no expense to participants.
+NHANES will pay back participants for transportation and baby/elder care.
Communities throughout Oakland County will have residents participating in the survey. Addresses have already been selected. When a NHANES interviewer rings your doorbell, you will be given a set of questions and then if you qualify, you can choose to participate or not.
