SEMCOG is seeking input from Southeast Michigan residents to aid development of the region’s long-range transportation plan. Give your opinion and you will be heard. Identify travel issues, rate approaches to improving the system, and rank overall priorities. Results of this survey will be used to help shape priorities for the 2045 Regional Transportation Plan, which will describe billions of dollars of investment in the region’s transportation infrastructure and operations.

Transportation in Southeast Michigan will undergo dynamic changes over the coming decades with the development of connected and automated vehicle technologies, meeting the evolving needs of an overall aging region, and finding sustainable ways to fund existing and future transportation infrastructure. The 2045 RTP will consider these changes and their effects on:
•Walking and Biking
•Traffic safety
•Pavement condition
•Transit
•Environmental quality
•Traffic congestion and operations
•Freight and border crossings

SEMCOG is looking to hear from you about how getting around the region is working, what needs to be fixed, and what investments will be most beneficial for the future.
