Orchard Lake Museum
Take a self-paced guided tour of Apple Island. Start at Orchard lake Museum then ride a pontoon boat to the island. Allow 2.5 to 3 hours to go around the island and interact with the volunteer guides. Please wear walking shoes and dress appropriately for the cooler temperatures at the lake. 3:30 p.m. is the last departure from the museum.
First come, first served. No reservations.

$15 adult ticket donation, $10 child 5-12 years ticket donation (no kids under 5).
$5 GWBHS and Time Travelers members ticket donation.
Free museum entry with special presenters. Spinning, early outboard motors, and hands-on farm activities. The MSPS Reenactment Group presents the story of the original surveys and a surveying camp from the 1820’s, including authentic instruments, equipment and stories. These surveys were vital to the settling of MI; it’s entry into the Union and are the surveys upon which all boundary surveys of today are based.
