In concert with Pontiac Meals on Wheels and the Federal Older Americans Act and the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging (Area Agency on Aging 1-B), low cost, nutritious meals are now available for persons age 60 and older, regardless of income.  Meals are served at Spirit of Grace Church, 2399 W. Figa Ave. West Bloomfield, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:15-1:15 PM.  A multi-course hot meal is offered along with a cold meal (chef salad, sandwich, etc.) which can be taken home. Special meals are offered for holidays, such as Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc.  A warm, hospitable atmosphere and the chance to meet new friends is the setting.  If the $2.50 donation would be a burden, there is no charge.  Call the church at 248-682-0770 M-F 9:00 AM-2:00 PM if you have any questions.
