The empty tomb was not discovered once, but many times. It took individuals who were willing to lean into and turn toward God’s promises and then to re-turn to their communities to tell them about it. We get to turn to and return from the empty tomb again on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, and at Pine Hill Congregational Church, 4160 Middlebelt Road, in West Bloomfield, Michigan, at 10:00 am, we will re-orient ourselves in the direction of Jesus’ resurrection and take that reality into the communities of which we are a part, initially through a children’s time during the worship service of decorating a cross with flowers, hearing the Worship Choir sing an anthem, listen to scripture, and lifting up voices in song. Special selections will be played by instrumentalists Cecelia Bianchi, Dinah Bianchi, and Irene Steyman. There is no charge to be a part of this celebration, and you may call the church office to find out more at (248) 626-2737.
