This community event is offered annually twice each year in the spring and in the fall.  It is a legal and  cost-free way to dispose of unwanted chemicals, recycle electronics, shred personal documents (up to 50 lbs per vehicle) and/or donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  The event is held in the West Bloomfield Civic Complex located at 4550 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield.  Identifying hazardous waste is easy.  Look for key words such as danger, caution, poison, flammable, corrosive, or use in well ventilated area.  For a full list of acceptable and unacceptable items, contact the Development Services Department at 248-451-4818 or refer to our website at wbtownship.org.
