Presented by Randy Hotton, Yankee Air Museum Board Member. Learn about the world and national events leading up to the decision to involve the auto industry in the construction of bombers for WWII and ultimately to build the Willow Run B-24 Bomber Plant. Presenter Randy Hotton is a professional pilot who works for USA Jet Airline based at Willow Run Airport. He’s a retired U.S. Navy Captain who conducted anti-submarine patrols during the cold war and piloted P-3 Orion aircraft in Vietnam.
