June 2nd is National Trails Day and what better way to celebrate than to hit the West Bloomfield Trail! Meet at Walnut Creek Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. West Bloomfield’s Naturalists will be on hand to engage in discussions about the wildlife along the trail.

Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society will open the Orchard Lake Museum located along the trail for you to visit and enjoy refreshments. This walk is approximately 7 miles and buses will transport you back to the starting point. There will be return points throughout the Trail if you don’t wish to walk the full distance. Refreshments and a limited number of free t-shirts will be given out. Registration will begin at 8 am and the walk starts at 8:30 am.
