What happens when you bring children, dogs and books together? You get happy, confident children who love to read. Trainers with their well-behaved certified therapy dogs* will be on hand so elementary students can practice independent reading skills while reading to a friendly canine companion.
*If you are interested in having your certified therapy dog participate in the program, please call the Youth Services Department at 248-232-2250 to learn about eligibility requirements and the application process. (Recommended for kindergarten to 5th grade)
No registration is required.
