Suburban Detroit Municipalities Hold Joint “State of the Communities” Presentation

Four Detroit area municipalities will join together for the first ever “State of the Communities” presentation providing area citizens a chance to learn about local accomplishments over the past year and hear about future plans. Participating are West Bloomfield Township, The City of Orchard Lake Village, Keego Harbor, and Sylvan Lake. This unique event will be held Monday March 11th, 2019 at 7pm in the theatre at Abbott Middle School.

 

The “State of the Communities” is a production of Civic Center TV and 89.3 FM, WBLD, The All New Lakes FM. The event will be cablecast on Civic Center TV and 89.3 WBLD. “It’s no coincidence this event is happening during “Sunshine Week”, said Harvey Gersin, Chairman of the Greater West Bloomfield Cable Communications Commission, operators of the media outlets. “Sunshine week is a national celebration of open government and this event captures locally the essence of this national effort.

 

Presenting are Orchard Lake Mayor Bruce Mcintyre, Keego Harbor Mayor John Fletcher, West Bloomfield Township Supervisor Steve Kaplan, and Sylvan Lake Mayor Aron Lorenz. The theatre at Abbott Middle School has limited seating and reservations are strongly recommended.
