The Punch Escrow

Meet Birmingham-based author Tal M. Klein, whose debut novel, The Punch Escrow, has earned rave reviews and had multiple movie studios bidding for film rights. Klein will talk about writing his sci-fi novel, a “techno-thriller with a love story at its core” (as Klein describes it), which is set in 2147 when human teleportation is the safest form of transportation – until the protagonist is accidentally duplicated while teleporting. During his talk, Klein will transport us to a future that is both inviting and horrific and tell us the process he used to get readers there, including his research into how teleporting has been used in books and film.
