Mary Salmon shares her love of antique handmade lace with a presentation of Lace Through the Ages.  Mary is the Curator of THE LACE MUSEUM Detroit, located in Northville, which hosts both permanent and rotating exhibits of handmade antique lace and fashion. Mary recently returned from the Lace Congress in Bruges Belgium and will have on display various styles of 19th Century Belgian Lace, as well as Irish Crochet Lace and Italian Needlelace.  Available for purchase will be handmade lace sachets, Edwardian table linens, Victorian lace trims, buttons, beaded purses, cards, and smaller gifts with a lace motif. All proceeds benefit the Lace Museum. Mary is a member of the International Organization of Lace Inc., Kantcentrum Bruges Belgium, and Great Lakes Lace Group Inc. Sponsored with West Bloomfield Library and WB Parks. No charge.
