Civic Center TV presents exclusive coverage of the 21st annual United We Walk Celebratio taken place Sunday, January 18th 2015 at the West Bloomfield High School. The United We Walk mission is to celebrate annually the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., by embracing the continuing influence and impact of Dr. King’s dream of creating a beloved community that values diversity, promotes unity, and underscores the worth of every person. This year’s keynote speaker was Dr. Jay Marks, Quality School Consultant, Oakland Schools and the honoree of the community leader award went to Chief Michael Patton.
