Automation Alley CEO Talks about Oakland County Collaboration on Project Diamond

Automation Alley CEO, Tom Kelly, explained that, early on in the pandemic, Oakland County used federal aid funding to provide 3-D printers to a number of small manufacturing businesses in the county to use to create parts and products at a cheaper rate, with the caveat that, in a time of emergency, the County could call on them to mobilize to print necessities such as P.P.E. and other products in order to mitigate future and current crises, providing peace of mind to local leadership and a boost in technological infrastructure to local small businesses
