Just this past weekend the 2022 Republican Party Convention was held, and after hearing the unofficial nominees for the upcoming political races, Dave Dulio has joined us to discuss his thoughts on their choices.
Oakland University’s Jared Barnett entered Oakland University as a transfer student from Oakland Community College by way of Pontiac High School in Pontiac, Mich. to pursue a major in Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences. He has demonstrated academic excellence by maintaining a 3.91 grade point average while working as a full-time employee at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital; achieving Dean’s List for each of his semesters at OU; being awarded the Donald Warren Outstanding Academic Achievement Award; being a two-time recipient of the Hubert Price, Jr. Memorial Scholarship for Social Sciences Scholarship; and being recognized by his professors for his diligence and significant dedication to learning. We rack his brain for his thoughts on receiving this prestigious award.
Christianne Malone was never pegged as a lacrosse player. Even though she was highly involved at a young age, people said they didn’t quite see her as a player when she was young. Seeing room for growth, Christianne buckled down and has been using the sport of lacrosse to unify the youth of Detroit’s neighborhoods by promoting character education, personal development, and pathways to prosperity.
