Animal Shelter Chief Says People Have Been Eager to Adopt Pets During the Pandemic

Joanie Toole, Chief of Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center, says that the time during the pandemic has been an excellent time for people to adopt the pet, as they have the time to focus on acclimating the animal or animals to their new home and focus on training without the stresses and time constraints of other activities during “normal” times.
