Dr. James Schwarz, Superintendent of Avondale Schools, believes that some students and families will elect not to return to traditional, in-person learning after the pandemic concludes, and says that school districts need to continue to develop their virtual learning capabilities in order to retain these students’ enrollment and (therefore) state funding that corresponds to that enrollment.
