Annie Vangelderen, CEO of the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, says that a small portion of the proceeds will go to cover costs of the sale, but that the remaining funds will go towards supporting the artists participating in the sale, many of whom lost much of their 2020 business due to the art show industry’s shutdowns due to COVID-19.
