Governor Gretchen Whitmer unveils her MI Safe Schools Plans, and updates the State of Michigan on the status of the MI Safe Start Plan’s phased re-engagement of the economy at a press conference on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer is joined by the members of the MI Return to Learn Council, including Chairperson Tanya Allen, to reveal the specifics of the plan, detailed as a “roadmap” for schools to plan their re-opening based on phases 3 through 5 of the MI Safe Start Plan.
Additionally, Governor Whitmer is joined by Dr. Joneigh Khaldun of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and other guest speakers, and the Governor fields questions from the press.
