Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital President, Eric Wallis, explained that bringing in additional staffing during the first wave was much more feasible, as there were pockets throughout the country of major outbreaks, but that this second wave sees the entire country as a major outbreak, which will make overflow staffing more complicated if the situation in out local area gets worse. President Wallis did, however, point out that Henry Ford Health System has been moving staffing resources around their local facilities as is needed to prevent staffing issues in key areas.
