Keego Harbor Optimist Club President, Bill Bertakis says that a conversation with a friend of his led to his understanding that many kids today do not have the same knowledge of craftsmanship, using tools and understanding units of measurement as used to be taught, and worked with the West Bloomfield School District to develop a shop program at Roosevelt Elementary School in Keego Harbor, a program that has received praise from students, parents and beyond!
