Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association Official Says Customers Opting Not to Provide Contact Info

John McNamara, Vice President of Government Affairs at the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association, explained that since the requirement to collect contact info for customers ordering food at Michigan restaurants was downgraded to a recommendation, most customers have decided to not provide the restaurant with contact information to collect, hold for 28 days and send to the State in the event of a COVID-19 positive case among the list of visitors in a certain period of time.
