Milestone Victories, Winter Reading & Partying Keego Style! | “The Splash LIVE” – February 2, 2024

Reading for rewards at the West Bloomfield Library, a creative approach to the party bus out of Keego Harbor, and a special milestone for a West Bloomfield High School coach, all today on “The Splash Live!”

On today’s program, West Bloomfield Township Public Library Community Engagement Librarian Emily Tobin gives an overview of their winter reading program, including special incentives and prizes for kids of all ages (and even their parents)!

Additionally, The Whiskey Wagon owner Mike Floyd talks about how a one-off conversation with some friends turned into a business where he bought a school bus and attempted to drive the party bus business in a whole new direction!

Also, West Bloomfield High School Varsity Wrestling Head Coach Greg Alessi discusses his milestone 500th career win, what it takes to be a great coach, and why wrestling is a sport that he holds so near and dear.

Plus, Oakland County launches its Acorn2Oak grant program to help kids pursue their dreams and interests, and West Bloomfield Middle School brings in a fun, special instructor to its music class!
