Registering Michigan Voters, Art in Ann Arbor and More! | Full Megacast May 23, 2021

Megacast host Tyler Kieft discusses political engagement among young voters with an Oakland University student, and an exciting, temporary art exhibit coming to the streets of Ann Arbor on this edition of the Oakland County and Michigan Megacast!

Jeremy Johnson is one of 25 students (along with Anna Van Hese, also from Oakland University) selected to serve on the Michigan Department of State’s Collegiate Student Advisory Task Force. Along with being a mouthful of a position, they work as civic engagement liaisons to inform their peers of all their rights and the status of the political environment. We discuss his role on the task force and more on this segment of the Megacast.

David Zinn had been doodling on his notes ever since he was young. After evolving his art style, he realized that the impact of making art that washes away with time was much larger than hanging his art on his wall. The unique angle of his art has brought a second wind to his creativity, and he talks about how he will be leaving his mark at the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
