Small Business Association of Michigan President Calls Stall of COVID Aid Negotiations Discouraging

Brian Calley, President of the Small Business Association of Michigan, says that he and his organization’s members hope that leaders in Washington at the very least discuss as second (albeit, likely smaller) Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) system and not completely suspend all negotiations on COVID-19 relief aid until after the November election, stating that payroll issues and expenses are still a problem for small business and will inflate without further aid.
