Louise Bugg from Spirit of Grace Church in West Bloomfield explained that the box is a 24/7 donation dropoff and receiving site at the church where people may pick up essential food and other items that they may need and for others to donate to help people in the community. Bugg said that the project began in 2017 as part of a final Eagle Scout project.
