Dr. Anna Kirkland, Ph.D., Professor of Health Management & Policy and Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan, said that technological barriers such as internet and device access are significant barriers to getting people in less-fortunate situations in line and scheduled for vaccination, noting that other factors also contribute as barriers such as transportation.
