West Bloomfield School District Administrator Explains Decision to Go Back to Remote Learning

Deanna Barash, West Bloomfield School District Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Assessment & Instruction, says that the recent uptick in cases, the severity of COVID-19 as detailed by the Oakland County Health Department, and positive cases among students, staff and faculty (who are in quarantine and have not been to school functions since their exposures) led to the sudden decision to move all learning back to Lakers Online.

The School District will hold a parent webinar regarding the decision and future education plans during the pandemic on Monday, November 2 at 7:30 PM at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88944808356
