Dr. Gerald Hill, Ph.D., Superintendent of the West Bloomfield School District, expressed confusion and criticism of the State requiring 20 hours of in-person instruction per week for access to critical relief funding (of which would have provided $1.2 million to West Bloomfield Schools), as well as Governor Whitmer’s suggested “pause” of in-person high school instruction and athletics for two weeks.
