Ann Arbor Book Society President, Rachel Pastiva, says the book stores will continue to battle with the market for books that is competing with them online, particularly from major outlets such as Amazon, but hopes that communities continue to show support for institutions in the local area such as Ann Arbor’s core of independently-owned book stores.
