Anquenette “Q” Sarfoh Says Low is Best Way for Legal Marijuana to Compete with Illicit Market

Anqunette “Q” Sarfoh, Board Member for the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association, says that a low tax rate helps to keep prices at legal operations low and prevent customers from looking for cheaper options from non-legal outlets. Additionally, Sarfoh urged lawmakers not to allow non-legal sellers to be imprisoned for selling a legal product and encouraged the release of those imprisoned on marijuana charges.
