Wren Hack, Executive Director of Hazon’s Detroit operation, discusses how cultivating sustainable food systems through gardening has helped to feed people and families in need during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Additionally, Lea Luger, Executive Director of the Yad Ezra food bank talks about how programs like what Hazon is offering, as well as the generosity of others, is helping her organization maintain their efforts to feed people throughout Metro Detroit.

Additionally, we speak to Jeff Jimision from the Idea Lab at the Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham about how he is using 3-D printers, usually utilized for “makers” to help provide critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to people on the front-lines fighting COVID-19.
