Detroit Jewish Film Festival Official Discusses Decision to Hold Virtual Festival

Jaemi B. Loeb, Senior Director of Cultural Arts at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, says that the decision to hold the festival virtually was partly motivated by viewers’ increased use of virtual platforms to consume content over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and by the desire to show the films that were to be ran in May for the originally-planned festival and continue this local tradition.
