Friends of the Rouge Director Says Cleanup Efforts Have Been a Years Long Collaborative Effort

Mary McCormick, Executive Director of the Friends of the Rouge, says that the project took millions of dollars and the dedicated work of many people across southeastern Michigan communities in order to clean up the heavily-polluted Rouge, an effort that was called one of the most astounding ecological recoveries in the country by an expert in the scientific field.
