Michigan Small Business Association President Says Relief Programs Not Beneficial for All Industries

Brian Calley, President of the Small Business Association of Michigan, says that variations from businesses to business and industry to industry affect how relief packages such as the Paycheck Protection Program ultimately benefit small businesses, noting that businesses with less staffing-heavy industries such as music venues did not get the full benefit due to less people being on their payroll. Calley noted in the interview that while various relief packages may be helpful, there is no replacement for businesses to be allowed to be open regularly and operating at their best potential.
