West Bloomfield Police Administrative Lieutenant, Erik Tilli, says that the Department has planned to hire up to seven new officers in 2021, and that opportunities are abundant in a number of different specialty areas within the West Bloomfield Police. Lt. Tilli said that, while the plan is to hire seven officers, the department will only hire those that they believe are the best candidates, calling West Bloomfield a “destination department.”
